Hello! I am very happy you have chosen Farris Plastic Surgery as your Aesthetic Professionals. I have been a Physician Assistant for over 20 years but have exclusively been doing Aesthetic Medicine for over 10 years. I love everything Aesthetics! I am a big believer in rejuvenating and treating the skin to show the younger you inside. The 3 things I never go without are: Medical Grade Skin Care, monthly Chemical Peels, and Energy Devices to stimulate collagen growth and improve skin elasticity while enhancing your youthful skin appearance. But of course, I use and believe in neuromodulators to soften those pesky fine lines and wrinkles. Ask if Botox or Dysport is right for you!
Farris Plastic Surgery carries an array of medical grade skincare products that include Skin Better Science, Alastin, Skin Medica and Perfect Derma. I am very knowledgeable with all of our brands and will recommend a personalized treatment regimen for you to combat your specific skin health needs.
Everyone needs chemical peels to exfoliate the build-up of dead skin cells that give us a dull, dried out appearance. As we age our skin cells turn over more slowly and we see those leftover cells giving our skin an unhealthy look. Here at Farris Plastic Surgery we have The Perfect Derma which is a medium depth peel that can be boosted for those with hyperpigmentation, acne or mature listless skin. We also carry Prescription strength Hydroquinone topical medication for those with stubborn hyperpigmentation or melasma. Let The Perfect Derma Chemical Peel add a brighter dewy facial appearance!
Our favorite energy device is the Morpheus8 RF Microneedling for face, neck and body. This device is a great collagen stimulator and elasticity builder, and who doesnโt need that? It does this with radio-frequency energy which is the gold standard as the best energy for collagen stimulation. I treat myself every 8 months to keep my youthful look- ask me about my photos before I did these treatments to see my actual results!
I am originally from upstate New York, north of Syracuse. I completed my undergrad at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro where I became a Registered Dietitian. I worked for 3 years as an RD in North Carolina, Virginia and Syracuse. I enjoyed this field but knew I always wanted a little more medical responsibility. I learned what a Physician Assistant was when I lived in North Carolina and knew that was a great path for me. I completed my training for my masters in Philadelphia, PA. I knew right away being a Physician Assistant was the right choice. I have worked in neonatal medicine, inpatient pediatrics, sedation outside of the OR and medical weight loss. I loved it all but when I was training, I did a dermatology rotation where I saw some minor plastic surgery and learned what a Med Spa was. I knew right then that when I was done โsaving livesโ, being in a Med Spa was going to be my fun job! I always say โthis is my chic jobโ! I started at a Med Spa in Connecticut and was there for 6 years then my husband Dave and I moved to Texas in 2020. I loved living in the South and he chose Texas and we are loving it! When we first moved we lived in College Station and then transferred to Dallas. When I am not at work, my husband and I love trying new restaurants, swimming, exploring Texas and relaxing in our backyard.
