Frequently Asked Plastic Surgery Questions

Miscellaneous

How do you determine if a patient is a good candidate for cosmetic surgery?

A patient is a good candidate for cosmetic surgery if they have a defined problem, reasonable expectations and good overall health.

Where does the surgery take place?

Your cosmetic surgery would typically take place in our AAAASF accredited surgical suite at our office setting. This will allow you to have convenience, privacy and cost reduction in a safe, controlled environment.

Is cosmetic plastic surgery inpatient or outpatient?

Nearly all the cosmetic plastic surgery that Dr. Farris performs is at the outpatient setting at his AAAASF accredited surgical suite within his office.

Will surgery be covered by my insurance or is there financing options?

Cosmetic surgery is typically not covered by insurance. Payment for your cosmetic surgery can be made in a variety of different ways including check, credit card or CareCredit financing. With CareCredit, you can have your surgery right away and then pay your fee in monthly installments with 0% interest (no extra cost). The approval process is immediate. In addition, there are extended payment plans available with low, fixed interest rates.
